The NCCS Chrysanthemum Show is held annually at the North Carolina Arboretum, Asheville, on the third weekend of October every year.  In 2012 the show will be held on the 20th and 21st of October and will be open to the public from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday.  The show floor will be open to photographers and the handicapped from 12:00 pm on Sunday.  In addition to the Chrysanthemum display the show will also have a Design Division featuring floral designs of every type.  Members and non-member amateur growers are welcome to exhibit provided that blooms have not been exhibited at any previous show.  For Design entries contact the membership chairman in advance of the show.  In addition to the members exhibits the participants in the Outreach to Schools program exhibit and compete against each other for the honor of holding the Peggy Winter Challenge Cup for 1 year.

While the North Carolina chapter holds its annual show each year in 2009 the chapter hosted the national show and convention and will do so again in 2013.
